I love the way she writes she really makes me don't wanna stop reading. The story is basically about the girl next door, it is somehow a love story. The novel also switches between present day and the past, illustrating the harmonious childhood friendships between the Hartes and the Golds, contrasted with the emotional demise of the friendship and love brought on by such a horrific event.
